I posted this poem in my blog earlier, can't remember if I've posted it here anywhere! Untangle the Dream Throw down your hair Pull the hero up high Releasing from prison The girl with the sigh. Kissing the frog, He’s never a prince Promises mountains Takes time to convince. Wicked old witch Or protection too strong? Her heart’s broken alone, Whole with his song Is the myth of the tale As the story unfolds When the heroine waits For her beau as she’s told. Imperfect perfection Prince charming himself The best specimen To be found on the shelf. A velvet gaol and A long silent scream With the eyes now wide open Reality streams. The fairy-tale ending Is not as it seems, Reality check and Untangle the dream. |
