Why can't I just be me All the bravado and pretence I'm hard, opinionated and talk to much If only people could really see The real me Don't get me wrong I really try To show them all What I'm actually about Insecure and wanting to be liked Sensitive and quite nice Some would say not to bother What you think is all that matters I only wish I knew what to do So I could feel as good as them Be able to smile and be one of the crowd Instead I'll just keep going Trying hard to show myself And one day I will change Then hopefully I'll be content Truely happy with my life |
