It’s been an hour now. Shadows have moved, but not yours. Although your eyes: I’m sure they did, Soul smouldering behind them, But blind to me. Your jaw numb to the touch As my fingertip traces the line While my heart joins your lips On the brink of a smile For all eternity. Last one for a few days, fellow Grimorians.
