Crossing borders Eton meets Grange Hill. My fair lady, so charming Me. I was beautiful Scum I should get back To the gutter Where I belong. Vowels not round enough For executive balls, A golden ring But the wrong tone. "Scum" My brain turned upside down, Everything felll out. "What do you mean?" I fight to say. "You what mean do?" He laughs As he paints me Black. Dyed-in-the-wool So I drink Bleach. |
