There they sit
In their ivory tower
Thinking they have
All the power

Always trying to
Put me down
Looking at me
With a frown

Wish I knew
What I had done
To stop me moving
Up one rung

My opinion
I will always say
Since they don't
Like it that way

So they can
Keep there little clique
For I am strong
And they are weak

They may
startle you
with shock
even dare
give you a dirty
look.

Ivory towers
can fall
after all
its only a
metaphor

until then bite
your tongue
you are only
young

leave work
for the day
and remember
not to carry it
around in your
head or take
it to bed.
