Don't let them hold you back Those demons from the past Don't let them drag you down Or drown you with darkness they had their chance along time ago they knew the path they had to follow But they chose the dark night the place for lost souls they never looked around to a place where light follows Now they regret mistakes made they grab onto you as if you are now their slave but you have grown wings they stop & stare they don't wish to be brave Just to drain you bare… they had their chance along time ago they knew the path they had to follow Now your light shines & they soak up your presence 'Cause they are drained of all soul's essence You are their only hope the path they need to follow but they drag behind in treachery & in sorrow |
