A commemoration well deserved
For our bravest soldiers
Lives in war, sadly disturbed
Our Great Service Men & Women
with children brought up during raids
Defending our Great Nation
Fight after fight, in spades
We will remember you
How could we dare to forget!
the courageous & the brave
the heartache & the regret
Thank you for fighting for our freedom
We revere you for your sacrifice
A happier time, more pleasing
Now, let's hope it will last…
