I pop a pill when I'm ill
That's what the doctor says
He doesn't know what is wrong with me
Just wants to escape each day
Doc went to the bank to cash in his pay
With no concern for my health
He just prescribes me pills all day
Whilst he is counting up his wealth
The nurse takes my blood pressure
She cannot see, to save her life
Making me bleed seems her pleasure
As she tells me her stresses & strife
I pop a pill when I'm ill
That's what the doctor says
He suggests I put him in my will
As I'm hypnotised into a daze
