Sometimes life is hard for a reason To aid your personal growth each season There may be no rhyme or reason & I think it is the gods just teasing Sometimes life is hard on purpose Painfully slow as a tortoise Like banging your head on a doorpost or an endless stream of puce Sometimes life is a pain in the neck Someone who you would like to deck or to give up & say, "what the heck!" & join all the others in the wreck Sometimes life is full of joy For every man, woman, girl & boy Something to create instead of destroy So let's make it fun & enjoy! |
