I am untying my ribbon To my Saturday evening bow Anticipating the shimmering & unveiling of tonight's show What will it reveal Which costumes will be on display? When will it be my turn To dance & sing on Saturday! I am planning my audition & dance routine in my head Hoping for a good rendition Instead of dreaming in my bed Then I will become a star Everyone will know my name It will be my finest hour & I'll depart this sleeping game. |
