I say Goodbye to yesterday
to all of the sorrows
of every dreaded day
I put my fingers up
at my past
Knowing at the time
It would never last
I tell you what I think
& I don't give a damn
I was on the brink
But now I'm a new man
I say good riddance
To all of you
You look down on me
& yet you say nothing true
I say get lost
To all, I accost
It wasn't thee
You were just
Related to me
I say Au Revoir
As I break another law
You will never control me
Nor set me free
Can't you see?
You are just like me!
