Never want to wake up again
Never wish to look into your eyes
& see your shame
I never wish to reveal
My pain

Never want to go to sleep
To dream a nightmare
& never sleep
I never wish to awaken
So pathetic that I weep

Never want to be hypnotised
To be so out of control
Just mesmerised
Never want you to take advantage
Nor be despised

Never wish for you to lead me away
Just want to simply stay
Not imprisoned in your cage
Just leave me alone
In my old age
