Life is a game of snakes & ladders As you try to climb up one ladder Invaribly someone spits more venom & someone else throws a dagger So you slip down to change your denim Life is a box of chocolates You think you've got the caramel But you end up with the orange cream So you end up having a paracetamol Hiding because you don't wish to be seen Life is like connect four Red makes you stop Whilst you teeter on traffic light amber Then it all goes pop As you end up in a clamber Life is like a board of scrabble With people keeping score Whilst heads untangle Others become a bore As you're the only one taking a gamble Life is like a waltzer With someone pushing you to your limits Pressing the seat as you hold on tight Tailgating with fareground gimmicks |
