Disturbed is my mind
Full of cogs 'n wheels
Spinning into a frenzy
Scheming & plotting deals

Like a whirlwind
In the darkest night
Fully knowing I have sinned
Conscious of wrong & right

Trapped inside my own mind
Grey cells still learning
Beating myself up
As Wheel of fortune keeps turning
I open up my fortune cake
To see a positive message inside
Only to realise it's a fake
& once more, my brain is fried

My fortune wheel
Goes in cycles
Sometimes high, Sometimes low
Occasionally stagnant
With nowhere to go

But once you are at the bottom
The only way to the top
Is to forget the past mistakes
& seek the cream of the crop
