The golden pheasant struts,
Pecking the air impatiently,
Searching, searching for the
Lost love hiding in the undergrowth
Wrapped in frosted air

Nearby the bark of the dog fox echoes
Through the shadowed copse,
Freezing all movement,
Arresting breath.

Lost love hiding in the undergrowth
Wrapped in frosted air

High above the silhouette of
Treetops, the wise moon
Looks down
Searching, searching for the
Lost love hiding in the undergrowth
Wrapped in frosted air

And the stillness listens,
And the searching breeze listens,
And the broken heart listens;
Searching, searching for the
Lost love hiding in the undergrowth
Wrapped in frosted air
