I can read the truth in your face But only lies spit from your tongue I uncover every mark & trace You're speaking nonsense & it's wrong I can feel how your brain tries to lie But the feelings you emit are different It's hard for me not to question, with a sigh Faking your body to remain still, like cement I see the contortions which you try to control The amount of wasted energy you use But it's pointless I can view your soul So why bother it's not me who will lose I listen as your tone changes when I probe You try to make out I haven't noticed Over the years I have refined my ear lobe There's not one little trick I've ever missed So stop your lies Give up pretending I see through your disguise Your falseness is never ending |
