I’m not playing with you any more
You break the rules and you don’t keep score
You say you will and then you don’t
Blowing hot and cold you tease and taunt

You talk in code but you won’t explain
Raise my hopes then dash them again
You don’t play fair so I’m off with my ball
Before I end up head butting walls

I’ve got other playmates not just you
I’m sure you think I’ve nothing to do
Except wait around for you to show
Click your fingers and off we go

I’ve got some news for you my friend
I’ll be the winner in the end
On that sweet day you’ll come pleading
To play with me with your heart bleeding

And what do you think I’ll say then?
Hello stranger do you remember when
I wanted to play with you?
But you had other things to do!

You disappear for days on end
Your hiding drives me round the bend
You can’t walk off in the middle of a game
Then return and expect it to be the same

Stop throwing toys out of your pram
Getting fed up with you I am
You’re like the elusive Pimpernel
You think I’m under your magic spell

You know who you are and of what I speak
I bet you think I’ve got a cheek
