A frayed knot Worn from overuse Not tight, just tatty Like a twisted ruse A frayed knot Trying hard to Hold it all together, not Replaced by something new A frayed knot Discoloured and abused No-one cares Overstretched and pulled A frayed knot That's like me All screwed up Like the joint in my knee A frayed knot Now full of rot I ask, if it's ok? & just like me, afraid not! |
