My hubby's gone for his sleepover
To watch the footie and drink beer
It's clear that none intend to remain sober
& will end up in their carpet kebab, Oh dear
My hubby's been released for a night out with the lads
To paint the town red but will end up green
Dancing like idiots you know like those awful dads
Eyeing up the girls like the last century's has-been
My hubby's playing away tonight, his one night of independence
I don't want to know what he gets up to, especially if he scores
Then he'll feel really guilty and begin a period of abstinence
Playing with the children and suddenly doing all of the house chores
My hubby's been collating all of his sins
Waiting for this long awaited sleepover night
Spent them all too quick like a bookie after the wins
He's come back early! Move over lover, Now out of sight!
