I will gladly join you, for I have not tasted Mefus for a while, and I understand that Urat has a stock of the first crop of this year.

I am to meet one of the King's novices later this evening. He is arriving from the coast and will be lodging with me for a few days. A pleasant fellow, though his mind seems fixed on the miseries of his life, slight though they are, especially compared with many I have seen. In truth, he fares well and his problems are few. I continually encourage him to consider the many joys his life holds.
