I can smell a rat No longer a fool Knowing that fact I'll escape this rat pool Just realised your disguise Threatened & frightened No more you'll surprise Won't make me enlightened Was drowning in rat pit Since ejected your trap I just fly over it No more nibbling sap No fall from grace chime I''m sending you all back Put up my mirror & rhyme You're not my problem This piping conjurer Retires to his gondola No longer a rat catcher Now cease this strain I've been your leader But I've nothing to gain Don't focus on me I'm letting go of my reign |
