In Fairness, there lives a creature That no-one's ever really seen. They'll say they've seen a shadow And footsteps where it's been. "I saw it years ago" they'll cry "Standing on that very spot!" But ask them to provide some proof And there won't be a lot! In Fairness, no-one's ever sick, There's no such thing as rich or poor. Nobody wants what others have, No need to lock your door. A guard dog isn't necessary And neither is a gun. Enough of everything for all, Life's great for everyone. In Fairness, everyone's the same, All happy and contented, No-one has 'nothing to do' 'Cos boredom hasn't been invented. Their football team wins all the time And ne'er concede a single goal! They have an ostrich in the village Whose head is never in a hole. Some people wish they lived in Fairness Not I. I'm happy where I am My life's not perfect but I'd rather Live like this, than in a sham. There's no such place as Fairness. I can state that clearly, with no doubt! At least that's what I say to people Since the b******s kicked me out! |
