Or do they only pretend to listen

Is it not wiser to first test your assumptions?
Allowing the other the opportunity to explain
Rather than create more planetary ructions
Is it not wrong to treat people with such disdain
You may be right but then again, you may not
So how can you listen when there is so much talk?
If you are not adding value, off you trot!
You may not be the appropriate person to hold that chalk
Why does everyone have to think they are right all the time
