I would relish some critical feedback though now as I feel I'm getting a bit same old same old
though so critics if you are out there please critique my poems so I can improve??

Does feedback liberate potential Or do critics stifle growth? Do those judgements make you ill Or feel sorry for that huge Oaf? Does the revealed unseen Give you more clarity about you Acting as a mirror so keen & a revelation so true Secure in yourself enough Releasing water off a duck's back Some opinions can be tough Giving you that solar plexus whack But if hiding from feedback Makes you feel safe Will you ever learn to handle cac Or learn to defend your inner waif Perhaps there's some ditty You don't already know I am you and you are me Deep down we all love each other so |

Solar plexus whack! I LOVE that and I'm going to pinch it! I know what you mean, I hate giving feedback. I only give feedback on stuff I like! I don't know if others feel the same but I tend to think poetry and writing in general is very personal and 'Who am I to criticise' someone else's work? |
