Peace is......
A still heart and a worry free brain
It's when all fighting has stopped
And we can self renew again
Peace is the calm after your anger has popped
& when your mind is rationally level
It is like the serene waters of a lake
When you have rid youself of that devil
Peace is friendship
When you get together for a cuppa
Heartfelt joy through getting a grip
And a hug from your Grand Pappa
It is comfort in times of crises
Like a pillow to rest your weary head
Peace is the removal of spices
Time to put that aggression to bed
PS: this poem is dedicated with hearty love to my brother because his famous catchphrase for years has been "get a grip" and is his answer to every situation i.e. people just need to get a grip so hence why I managed to get it in my poem on peace!
