Alone
In a crowded room
No-one understands
Cannot hear me
Empty inside
Eyes elsewhere
Pretend to smile
Someone sits awhile
Now people stare
But I'm still all alone
In a crowded room

Eyes meet
We connect
Isolated too
Gaze of regret
A soulless place
Full of people
Who've lost their minds
Forgotten hearts
Still hard to find

No longer alone
In this crowded room
Feel complete within
As safe as a mother's womb
