Sweeney keeps the privy clean
He's good to have around
But, Oh that boy needs cheering up
He always wears a frown

Face like a smacked bottom
He moans and groans all day
Thinks Philomena loves him
I'm sure that's why he stays

I think that boy is short of love
It's really such a shame
If he wasn't so fond of his privy brush
He might attract a dame

Oh please dear Zoriat hear` my prayer
Please send the lad some joy
Just put a smile upon his face
He's such a solemn boy.
