The Land of Grimney - The Illustrated Adventures of Cora Pearl, aged 12

Well, that was a busy day yesterday. It was good to see the others. There was a lot of healing for us to do, and the novice was not there. She had to attend her sick son. A worthy reason, Her son does her credit and is eager to join our number himself.

There is something soothing in the sounds of the waterfall. It always seems to catch the light in curious ways. The suns are about to rise. I will stay here until I see the first rainbow, then return home. Maybe Glosnik will be there. I heard him come in late last night after I retired.

Ah, the first rays of sunlight. Beautiful. Now I must go.

It is as the King promised. I feel my pain lifted. Perhaps it is this place?

I still hear the laughter of my children, the sighs of my wife, but such memories no longer fill me with anger.

This Grimney is a strange place. Such a mixture of people of all types. Maybe Wayland is right. Maybe I will find a home here.

You tried to use my gifts as weapons. As weapons! I cannot permit that.
