Two noble warriors have asked to fight. The sword is raised and the blessing is given. The six days of silence have been met by each combatant, and now the time has come for them to enter the Arena. Let it be known, that any who enter here other than those who fight will be terminated. This is the proving ground, and disputes are settled swiftly. We await you both, and pray to the Zoriat for an honourable outcome. May the Blue Light of the Guardians carry you to death or glory! May your last words be the first of many.... |

Good evening. I have to inform you that Kalvos is somewhat delayed, so I have stepped into his noble boots. These things happen you know... Grimney is so full of confusion... I was his Second, or was I his Third? No matter, I am here first, as you can see. So, if you don't mind, I would like a stab at you. I'd call this a Vendetta for the blood you spilled, and you damaged my moustache. I'm not a very violent man, but I'm happy to clip your ears just for jolly. Oh... Notice that my moustache is waxed and in full bloom again, and that my hand is steady, despite the brandy I have consumed.... But make no mistake... My sword is very sharp and my nerve is strong. I may not have lived a good and decent life, and I am in truth a rather selfish man, and if I don't survive this please tell Urat Holme that I died with dignity. He is a fine man and deserved better than I. No matter... Regardless... This is however my proving ground, not yours. I trained with a Master Duelist you know, and so good sir... *He raises his sword in salute*. Shall we dance? That is whenever you're ready? |

IF AGREED WITH MY OPPONENT, I ASK FOR THE CHANCE TO BE GIVEN TREATMENT BEFORE WE CONTINUE. I ACCEPT THAT IF WE ARE BOTH SEVERELY WOUNDED HE HAS WON THE FIRST ROUND. |
