I have looked through all the pictures of the Grimney creatures and I'm completely certain that, if there was ever a film made as a result of this work, I would beg to play a Skrub. I opened the picture in my browser and it was like looking in a mirror...it truly was! My physique is so similar, at first glance, I thought...where on earth did they get this picture of me from??! Obviously, I haven't been coloured in with pencils (I don't know why I feel I have to clarify that, it just seemed appropriate), but my hair is just like that!!...Purple too!!! My favourite colour!

If anyone's reading this...yes you are...tell me which creature is most like you and which one you would want to play if this work was adapted for TV or made into a film. Please!!

Great question. You are truly inspired and funny. :) I can only relate to one species in Grimney and I would choose to be a mermaid. Their lifestyle suits me perfectly and I think I would fit in with them, although I cannot swim. I'd be fine as long as I could sit on a rock, but I would need a cushion and lots of suntan cream to work on my tan.

Life has returned to Grimney, it's been so long. I have just been watching the place and reading stuff sometimes. Hell, do you really look like that fat yellow guy??? Anyway, happy to play along. Me? Well I'm tall, thin and have a big nose, so I guess I'm a Bongle, although that is not the species, I don't think. I do have better manners mind! I wonder if anyone thinks they're an arse?!

I hope more people will look through the pictures and pick a character to relate to. I love the idea of a mermaid who can't swim. I think that's a story in itself! .... and, yes, Peel, I really do look like a skrub...purple hair included! I know...you're jealous...no need. It's truly a curse. Admirers coming from all directions...never a moment's peace. I don't know how I cope really. Not being able to run away doesn't help much either.

That is hilarious, mermaids that cannot swim, and purple haired lard bottoms. Didn't even know there was a choice of creatures until I looked about a bit, been a member for ages but never noticed before. Well. I would have to be a Vorte, I don't have jaundice but I have quite a big forehead and I'm rather bald. I think I fit the description rather well too. Not that I'm proud of that. Lots of people are like them.

I wondered whether this thread would encourage people to look through the pictures. I guess my cunning plan worked! Isn't it wonderful to have such a diverse set of pictures to choose from? I doubt anybody could flick through and not see themselves in at least one. Actually, it's kind of nice for people to be able to give an idea of what they look like instead of uploading a picture that probably wouldn't do them the justice they deserve. All the pictures I upload just make me look big and scarey...can't work it out! But, you know what they say...looks aren't everything. Mind you, when kids start crying when you walk past, it can make you feel quite paranoid...and then, when the adults start too, it really makes you wonder what their problem is! People eh? Tut!

I see myself as a Drumlin, although I would rather be a wraith, as the man on the throne looks mighty cool. I just know that I am a Drumlin. I have red hair for a start, and I smile a lot, I am also a person who witters on and on about stuff, and generally I sit in the corner at parties and mumble to myself. I am not antisocial, but it is just my nature to mumble and ramble. I also have a rather fancy red jacket and do like a tasty pie every now and that, mainly pork. Better stop as I'm rambling. Yes pictures are good. Did you draw any of them Tanza? I guess I could also be a Gweeb, but I'm not an egomaniac, but I never stop talking even when I'm on my own, everything I do is with commentary. Thank God I'm single! :x

Loving the sound of the red jacket and red hair. I wear purple all the time...to go with my purple hair. Everything is purple!! If you like a colour, why not down yourself in it? If I could turn my skin purple I would...seriously. Mind you, I might just end up looking like a massive punch in the face...if that's possible. Would that be a punch in the face personified? I don't know. Nothing wrong with rambling. It's what forums are created for. If nobody rambled, nothing would get said. No point in carefully constructing a post and editing it until it's nothing like what you wanted to say in the first place. Plonk it down and leave it!! LEAVE IT I SAY!! Anyway, no, I didn't draw or write anything in the Land of Grimney. I stumbled upon the forum laying dormant and thought I'd wake it up....WAKE UP!! Plenty of people are reading but not writing. Voyeurism...such a naughty habit...but fun...bwhahahah!!

You have all gone quiet again! I am one of the voyeurs that Tanza talks about. More a reader than a writer, I am a bit lazy. Anyway, if I was a Grimney creature I'd be a mermaid, crossed with a gnome as I am quite small. ;)
