*Nazik attempts to hold the kelpie but he is not strong enough. If he breaks free, then he will run to Philomena. Part of Nazik wants to let him go and see how this plays out. Another part of him fears for his own safety if Philomena rides away and leaves him there to be discovered. He knows what he should do as a knight. He looks at Esper as he lets go of the reigns.

*Esper knows there is no use in trying to stop Nazik. As a knight, he is sworn to sacrifice his life for the royal bloodline. She releases the kelpie and looks to Philomena; hoping she can escape.

*Nazik watched the kelpie, waiting for the cottage to xplode as Philomena flew away. To his surprise, she whispered and turned to close the cottage door behind her. The kelpie flew away, alone. Nazik turned to Esper.

That went well.

Not exactly what I thought would happen either. Well, it's much better than you fighting a hord of smelly, angry creatures with swords. Right?

Good point. I have discovered her location and her safety. For now, my job here is done. I must report to the Duke. Will you stay and ensure her safety? If they try to harm her, maybe you can rattle the walls and scare them.

*Esper claps her hands

Yay! Dont forget, I can break glass too! I will go sit beside her, those dimwits will never see me.

* Esper rushes off with a loud whisper in the wind

Smart move, I am leaving the Princess in the care of a ghost. Maybe I should travel quickly.

*He turns and runs toward the castle hoping to come along a kind soul who would offer him swift travel. He reconsiders this thought when he recalls where he is... there are no kind souls.
