My oh my, you’ve made the swamp bubble. I had to come up through the cellar, as this place is as tight as a drum. Yes, I've been upstairs, your knight is quite safe, but your friend on guard has drunk his brandy and fallen asleep. Just as well I'm not an assassin.

Now, no trouble Jacob, you know me of old and I know these ladies by sight. The folk singer, with the rune stones, who does not know her past, and the mermaid with the mirror, who seeks her missing father. Oh yes I know of you.

I’m part of the Vanguard, and this is the beginning of a larger plot. Slayvern is still out there but the numbers are falling, hence my arrival.

It seems bad wather has made them grumpy. Violence and threats they can stomach, they even enjoy that, but raging storms are not quite their cup of gadroon tea.

It’s a noble stand I must say, what you’re making here.

Believe me it was no trouble at. I've broken into more secure places in my time Gwenllian.

I just wanted to see who the brave souls were, the foolhardy heroes who are holding back Slayvern and his gangsters.

I’m a little surprised, but it warms my heart to see such loyalty to a knight of the realm.

I’d like a room, I’ll take the cellar, and a candle, I don’t wish to be disturbed. You might need my help when times are worse. I won’t show my face, when your beloved knight is around.
