I don't have spells. I cannot manipulate a person's will, but what I can do, with the help of the Instructor, is to grant peace to people. It is like a balm to those with rage and hatred, allowing them to see matters more clearly. Often, they choose the path of light for themselves. This peace also gives those who are afraid hope, and gives them courage to endure or even overcome the difficulties they are in.

As far as the Bolus is concerned, I know the red is for fever, and the yellow is for maladies of the stomach. The blue I have only come across this time. I have found no reference to it at all in my library. I know of some ways to test a plant to see if it is good or not, and the waterfall water will help. Whatever the situation, I am concerned about how quickly it may be spreading. I suspect the Pretender's hand in this, but I do not know for sure.

Concerning the trees. As far as I could tell, they seemed real enough. It would take powerful magic to change an animal into a plant. I have heard of a gnome that did this to an entire village that was built in his domain. As far as I know, he is still in his hundred year hibernation.

poor little Xibes, let us hope that your songs Philomena and your peace Wayland keep her safe until we can find her, I suspect her own magic may be stronger than she knows, though if she has the knowledge to control it is another matter.
eve must be quite beside herself, maybe we can take turns to watch over her .

I have seen those trees before, growing on an island in the Sea of Lost Souls. The place had a tragic silence, as if no creature could live there and through the trees stood a temple of rubies and gold. It seemed an evil place to me.

Gwenllian if you take care of eve now I shall go to Mrs West's and see if some of her tough looking lodgers might be ... er persuaded to help. Perhaps you can coax her into eating, I tried her with custard creams but they reminded her of Xibes and she started to cry.

Of course I'll make her some dewberry tea maybe that will calm her .

I have a cloth which I have blessed. Place it by Eve's head, and it should calm her and allow her to sleep. Her worrying will do her no good, and we don't want her unwell when Xibes returns.

I am soooo tired, I fancy I could sleep for a hundred years.

I had the strangest dream....Xibes....and me, drinking dewberry tea and eating custard creams by the cosy fire at Munchkin manor...and a message flying from far away falling down the chimney stack!

*As eve naive speaks there is a fluttering sound from the hearth*

I have to sleep, I don't know whatever is wrong with me but I can't keep my... eyes... open....Its so snuggly in my feathers...
