You lost? I thought you won the duel? If I had been you I would've ridden up and married the Princess straight away. If you dillydally around, you always miss out. Last year the toy peddler came to my village, I spent so long trying to choose between a black haired dolly and a red haired dolly, both were sold to other children and I ended up with a toy dog I didn't want. I have never dillydallied since.

But Kalvos is a knight... I don't believe he has ever been brutal. Surely he is not a man who would tear down villages and cut children in two?
*Sylvie stands up and brushes down her filthy dress*
I ain't gonna go to no tavern. I am going to Dorlich to find my gramps. If the place is ruined, I am gonna ask the Princess to help. No matter what you say naughty man, I know she is a good un and will help me.

Do you think you broke her heart by not marrying her? I mean why else would she marry someone else, if she loves you? Everyone in my village says she is so kind hearted. I guess she must be if you love her so much. You should speak to my gramps when we get to Dorlich, he is a barber so he is good at giving advice on matters of the heart. Sorted my ma and pa out good and proper when they rowed.

They have the best pink buns in Dorlich. It's ever so nice there. Everyone has little tubs of flowers outside their houses and the people are good and honest. We will be so happy when we get there.
