Perhaps if he didn't run round like a headless dragon and actually listened to what Lady Philomena wanted, she wouldn't have run out on him.

Why didn't he ride ahead to warn her knights were coming? He knows her distrust of them.

kalvos and Sir Robert are under house arrest, suspected of treason. Absolem Darke has turned traitor and there is a conspiracy to overthrow the Queen.

*She continues to stomp around the tavern and turns her attention to Arabella*.

Reports have informed me that Carados the Duke of Zoltar has returned to Grimney. Is this true?

Last night a knight called Styer came to protect the Princess and said you were riding in with Kalvos, now you are stomping around without Kalvos and accusining him of treason. What has happened?

*She holds out a newspaper.*

Carados has returned, it was in the Grimney Tattler...

Kalvos and Sir Robert are two of the most loyal subjects in the country...

*Lillikin flutters down.*

And I do hope you haven't come to arrest the mermaid, because she is so lovely and beautiful... even when she is angry and discarding her betrothal ring from Kalvos.
