Evarne is very caring but sometimes a little singleminded. Menippe is much more flexible, a bit like Mama but not such a free spirit!

No it is left over from swamp fever, after that night I spent in the mire looking for Vortigern. But Menippe is right, I have never recovered fully from giving birth 6 weeks ago.

Perhaps we should take a little trip to the sea, maybe a swim in the briney would help and Meadow's always wanted to go to the seaside !

Yes! In fact thing seem to have calmed down a bit so perhaps we could take Karina to see my mother. I have a tiny palace, only thirty bedrooms, off the coast, we could go! I am planning yo hide Vortigern there as nobody will find him there.

I need to present my case against the sequestration of my estates anyway. Always better to do such things in person. Can you believe my cousin Felicia is trying to commandeer my emerald palace in the Crystal City! Over my flipping tail will she move in there!
