Nobody of royal birth would be sold to the Queen's Elite. Royal families have their faults but we do not sell our children like slaves. Poor Kalvos, I think he would like to find his family one day.

I can't believe someone as gentle and refined as Kalvos comes from common stock, I think there is a story here somewhere, Maybe he has royal blood but was born the wrong side of the blanket!

Maybe... But you know Lord Rackham brought him up and I think his kind influence might have helped. Besides gentleness is not a mark of royal blood, ruthless manipulation is.

I don't mind who his parents are. That common blood has produced someone quite extraordinary. He is a cut above most knights and aristocrats.
