I have a letter from my lady... She thinks she has found Vortigern's camp in the mire... Says she is staying overnight and will be back at dawn if he doesn't show up... Her heart aches to be with Karina again.

*She folds the letter.*

I have no idea why she cares about Jett after he knocked her unconscious and kidnapped her... No doubt he would have done worse if she hadn't been pregnant! Not one to take no for an answer from what I have heard...

Yes it's a strange sort of relationship! Philomena camping out in the mire, Kalvos, who knows where and their new baby left with a maid! I can't work them out!

I often wonder what they were luke together, both so fiery and passionate... A bad mix no doubt!

Kalvos is with Lord Rackham.... Between you and me Meadow, I fear the princess is purposely keeping her distance from the baby... She has found out... Well Karina has more human blood than mermaid so she is likely to be mortal. Can you imagine what it is like for Lady Philomena knowng the little Duchess will grow old and die, while the Princess will stay immortally young forever?

What gives you the right to judge? If I know one thing it is that they love their daughter! They will sacrifice much to make the world a better place and it is their Love for Karina that drives this.

Do you think they wouldn't rather be together and happy with their beautiful daughter?
