Yes, Hector was just telling me that those soldiers went missing in the mire. The rumour is that Vortigern killed them but I think it is far more likely they were eaten by neathlin.

There has never been more devoted father. He does everything... Under Arabella's watchful eye.

She watches him like a hawk, she thinks soldiers have no skills to look after babies. He is very patient when she tells him off although sometimes she goes too far.
