We can't arrest the knight. But if he decides to fight us, we can defend ourselves against him.
*He grins*.
We don't follow the orders of the Queen's Elite brother..... Elf.
*He scoffs*.
We do as we see fit. We answer to Kellerman Bolte, Lord Grevil Layne or Grimwood Scribes. Not some pointy eared creature such as yourself.
*He smiles at Philomena*.
Bring your knights down to speak to us, but one wrong word or threat and they'll be blood. We'd never allow an elf in the Militia.

Why can't we arrest the knight? We make our own rules! As you know I'm not one to conform. Yes Elf do please bring your knights, I am a little bored with your company. I fancy a bit of bloodshed!

Why would I fight you? I only act within the law.
*Elios shrugs.*
We don't allow your kind in the Queen's Elite... the clue is in the name... Elite.
*He stares at Karn with contempt.*
Looks as though the militia has sunk to the level of gangsters.

*Philomena returns without the baby.*
Let's all calm down... No squabbling. You are both meant to be lawkeepers!

*He enters the bar room*.
What's going on?
*He looks at the two Militia men*.
The tavern is under the protection of Sir Robert Pearl.

And are the thugs who attacked Yargon Tweed under his protection too?

Dravenore, please can this be resolved peacefully?
*She looks at Karn with horror.*
Sir Robert Pearl would never protect criminals.... that is more...
*The mermaid bites her lip and looks at the knights.*

*Shayle draws her sword*.
Militia. I know the mire is full of scum, but most of it sinks to the bottom.
*She looks at Philomena*.
Kalvos and Stark are outside training. Shall I call them in?

You knights are all very quick to draw your swords....makes me wonder....who are you trying to protect? We are here to root out the thugs who attacked Tweed! Why are you all so antagonistic towards us?
