The Land of Grimney - The Illustrated Adventures of Cora Pearl, aged 12

No my faithful servant and old friend. I cannot leave Kalvos, it would break his heart and mine.

*She hands him a silver scroll.*

Please take this to the Queen. We shall meet again, for one day I shall return to the Dudrassa Sea.

little Kara brings new life and new hope to the Tavern and to Grimney, Did I see meadow leaving ?

Yes Meadow came in, lost her memory again she says.

*Philomena tucks a blanket over the baby.*

Bring new hope? Yes our little Duchess certainly does. You should have seen Grandpa Urat's face when I brought her up to see him. Better medicine than even fairy tears. I am even beginning to believe that her father's love for her is such strong magic that it will make him invincible in his duel.

I had hoped the Queen would change her mind and the duel would not have to be fought!

Maybe she will... I could go to her myself, babe in arms and plead with her to pardon Kalvos. Sir Robert could escort me.

I don't suppose it could do any harm, I'll come too!

I will have to speak to Kalvos first, you know how proud human males can be.

*She sighs then grins.*

We haven't wet the baby's head yet. I can drink again!

*She pours two very large glasses of firewater.*

To new hope and old friendship.

Ah this is more like it , The Holmes Tavern barmaids drinking the profits

Profits are pretty slim, the sooner all these nights go away the better. They frighten our customers away! Might need to have another bikini bar day, they always bring in the customers.

*She pours another drink.*

Arabella, will you take the baby upstairs?

*Gwenllian looks wistful*

It would be so nice to see the Tavern busy again, people laughing and singing
