Mrs West did not murder her husband. The top of his head was sliced open with a single stroke of a sword. He, himself, offered no resistance. Presumably accepting his execution as just retribution.
However, whatever the true reasons for his death, Mr West was unarmed at the time. The assassination was in cold blood.
Mr West was penitent for his past, and was a changed man, doing much good in the area. He was a threat to no-one, and only desired to live in peace with his wife and family.
Now, there are very few who can wield a sword in the manner described. I am sure that, if the assassin felt he was justified in his actions, he will have no fear about making himself known. It will then be up to the judicial system of Grimney to decide what happens next.
